Privacy policy
When you visit our website, place an order, or leave a review, we collect certain personal data from you. The type of data we collect depends on the action you take and the information you provide. No matter what information you share, we treat your data with care and never provide it to third parties for commercial purposes.
The only exception is in cases of suspected fraud. In such situations, we may share your name and address details with third parties for the purpose of fraud investigation. If you do not accept this, we kindly ask you not to place an order with us. By placing an order, you explicitly consent to us sharing your data with third parties in the context of a fraud investigation.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the CombiCraft website and the services offered through it. These terms take effect as of August 2024. Any new version published will replace previous versions.
In this policy, you can read which data we collect, what we use it for, your rights, who has access to your data, and how long we store it.
Data Processing
When you visit our website
When you first visit our website, you'll see a notice asking whether you accept or decline our cookies. Through cookies, we collect your IP address, browser type, language settings, and device type (such as a laptop or phone). This helps us improve our website and make the shopping experience easier. These details are not shared with Google without your permission, and IP addresses are partially masked.
When you place an order
To complete your purchase, we require your full name, email address, billing address, and phone number. We use this information to process your payment and keep you updated on your order status.
Business or personal purchase?
We also ask whether your order is for business or personal use. For business purchases, we need additional details such as your company name and VAT number.
Whether you order as a business or individual, we’d love to hear your feedback. After your order, we may share your email address with one of our review partners. See the section "When you leave a review on our website" for more details.
When you make a payment
You can pay using various methods: bank transfer, iDEAL, PayPal, Klarna, Visa, MasterCard, Bancontact, KBC, Belfius, Cartes Bancaires, EPS, American Express, and Maestro. We use the Dutch payment service provider Mollie. For more on how they use your data, please visit Mollie's privacy policy.
If you pay by bank transfer, your details are stored in our records to match the payment to your order. We only use your bank account number for refunds.
If you pay by credit card, the transaction is handled through Mollie. We never see your card details—not even during a refund.
When you create an account
Creating a CombiCraft account allows for faster checkout. We store your full name, email, account type (business or personal), phone number, billing and shipping addresses. In your account, you can also view order history and support tickets.
When we ship your order
To ensure proper delivery, we need your full name, address, phone number, and email. We share this information with our shipping partners so they can deliver your order correctly.
We work with Sendcloud to process orders. They receive your contact and shipping details to register your shipment with our delivery partners. They may also send tracking updates. For more on how they use your data, please visit Sendcloud's privacy policy.
Our delivery partners include PostNL, DPD, FedEx, and Mol Cargo. These carriers may contact you via email or phone about your shipment.
These logistics companies operate as independent controllers under data protection law. You can read more about how they handle your data in their respective privacy statements.
When you return an order
To process a return, we need your order number, reason for return, full name, phone number, payment details, and email address.
When you sign up for our newsletter
Stay updated on new products and promotions by signing up for our newsletter. We collect your name and email address. This data is shared with our email marketing provider Mailchimp. You can read their privacy policy on their website.
When you leave a review on our website
Once your order arrives, we may email you to ask for a review. You can include your name, email, rating, and comments. When a review is published, the name, rating, and review content are shown on our site. You may use a pseudonym if you prefer not to display your real name. Your email address is only used internally to match your review to your order and isn't visible on our website.
When you write a review on another platform
If you place an order, we may share your name and email with our review partners: Trustpilot, DMWS, and/or Google Review. These partners may send up to two emails per order requesting a review. Submitting a review is voluntary and not required. Please consult their privacy policies for more information.
When you contact us
You can reach our customer service team by phone, email, social media, or WhatsApp. To help us respond to your question, comment, or complaint, we may ask for your order number, name, email, phone number, or other relevant info. We don’t record phone calls but do log written notes in our system.
Sharing Data with Government Authorities
In some cases, we are legally required to share personal data with government authorities, such as the Tax Office. We may also provide information to the police or judiciary in cases of fraud or abuse. Supervisory bodies may access personal data for investigation purposes.

Storing and Deleting Your Data
We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or meet legal obligations. If you delete your account, we’ll also delete your data—unless we need it for warranty purposes or legal reasons. Businesses are required to retain some data for 7 to 10 years.
